Matmata - Nalut – TUNISIA – The warm-up
Saturday 26th April

This 2nd day will start by a short 21km road stage to bring the competitors to the Tunisian Anti-Atlas slides. Most of this special stage will be on a breaking crest road with many stones. The impetuous ones will have to be cautious to avoid a definitive breakdown on the 2nd day.
Also, it will be needed to be cautious with course’s changes to the Libyan border that will be the end of the 295km special stage. The arrival will take place in the magnificent Oueni wadi, with landscapes as great as the Grand Canyon. Then the racers will have a final 121 km road section, crossing the border between Tunisia and Libya, to arrive to the Nalut bivouac.
