CARS

Krzysztof Holowczyc (Pol/Nissan Pickup): «I promised myself to keep a steady pace on this Rallye de Tunisie. But my copilot Jean Marc Fortin was at his best today, showing excellent skill in navigation, and with the added luck of not bursting, we did well”.

Christian Lavieille (Fra/Proto Dessoude): « A few mishaps in our navigation notes as we descended the plateau lost us some precious time, the we lost one the tires! No worries we have a long way to go..."

Bernard Errandonea (Fra/Buggy SMG): «This kind of landscape is made for our buggy. From the top of the plateau we saw many competitors scrambling in all directions, we were lucky enough to find our way quickly..."

Eric Vigouroux (Fra/Chevrolet): «Too good to be true! Very confusing in the first 100 ks as the tracks seemed to go in all directions,  It seems to me that every time I overtake Christian Lavieille, it brings me misfortune: we got lost on the plateau then lost one of our tires".

L. Palmer (Aus/BMW X3): «Three punctures, no jack, it was nasty and stony, we never made it over 170, we were happy to finish».

Bikes

Michel Marchini (Fra/Yamaha 450) : « Difficult to start with, got together with 3 other bikes to find our way, then I stepped on the gas, leading the way is fun but gives you a head ache at the end of the day"

Stan Watt KTM 690 GB: «For 150 Kms I was leading everyone then the navigation got confusing, so I didn't do that well today but Confident to make it up during the next stages… »

Derrick Edmondson (/KTM 690) : «Tracks were great, but confusion lost us some precious minute from Km 100, Two small falls no harm done, will do better… »
